Namaste dear Well Wishers,
Welcome to Verse 6 of the Calendar of the Soul Verses by Rudolf Steiner.
Hope you and your loved ones are well and thriving
in your part of the world.
If this is your birthday verse this week Birthday Blessings to you!
Over the past months we have been spending time each week with one of the 52 verses from the Calendar of the Soul meditations written in 1912 by Rudolf Steiner (1861-1925). Now that we have reached the 52nd verse (after Easter) will have started from the 1st verse and are building towards Michaelmas.
On Sunday, May 12th, we move to Verse 6 (Week of May 12th – 18th). The verses were originally written in German by Rudolf Steiner, included here are translations into English and French.
6. Sixth Week after Easter
(May 12th – 18th)
There has arisen from its narrow limits
My self and finds itself
As revelation of all worlds
Within the sway of time and space;
The world, as archetype divine,
Displays to me at every turn
The truth of my own likeness.
6. La Sixième semaine: 12-18 mai
Voici que ressurgit de l’être personnel
Mon soi, et qu’il se trouve
Manifesté par l’univers
Dans les forces du temps, les forces de l’espace;
Partout me montre l’univers
En tant que modèle divin
La vérité de mon image propre.
6. Woche: 12-18 Mai
Es ist erstanden aus der Eigenheit
Mein Selbst und findet sich
In Zeit-und Raumeskräften;
Die Welt, sie zeigt mir überall
Als göttlich Urbild
Des eignen Abbilds Wahrheit.
The Meditations invite us to develop a deeper understanding of the spiritual forces at work throughout the year.
For Rudolf Steiner the year begins with Easter so the verses are numbered 1 to 26 for the summer half of the year (Easter to Michaelmas) and verses 27 to 52 for the winter months (Michaelmas to Palm Sunday).
Next week we return with Verse 7 (May 19th – 25) until then, be well.
