Namaste dear Well Wishers,

Welcome to Verse 32 of the Calendar of the Soul Verses by Rudolf Steiner.
Hope you and your loved ones are well and thriving.

Over the coming months we are spending time each week with one of the 52 verses from the Calendar of the Soul meditations written in 1912 by Rudolf Steiner (1861-1925).

On Saturday, November 10th 2012, we move to Verse 32 (Week of November 10th – 16th).  The verses were originally written in German by Rudolf Steiner, included here are translations into English and French.

32. Thirty-second Week after Easter
(November 10 – 16th)

I feel my own force, bearing fruit
And gaining strength to give me to the world.
My inmost being I feel charged with power
To turn with clearer insight
Toward the weaving of life’s destiny.
(Translation: Pusch)

32. Trente deuxième semaine: 10-16 novembre
Je sens force personnelle porter des fruits,
Et sa vigueur qui croît me donne à l’univers ;
Mon être intime aussi je le sens prendre force
Et se tourner vers la clarté
Dans la trame dont le destin ourdit la vie.
(Traduction: Daniel Secrétan)

32. Woche:  10-16 November
Ich fühle fruchtend eigne Kraft
Sich stärkend mich der Welt verleihn;
Mein Eigenwesen fühl ich kraftend
Zur Klarheit sich zu wenden
Im Lebensschicksalsweben.

The Meditations invite us to develop a deeper understanding of the spiritual forces at work throughout the year.

For Rudolf Steiner the year begins with Easter so the verses are numbered 1 to 26 for the summer half of the year (Easter to Michaelmas) and verses 27 to 52 for the winter months (Michaelmas to Palm Sunday).

Next week we return with Verse 33 (November 17th – 23rd) until then, be well.
Kindest regards,
Sri Devi
