Week 21 August 25 – 31 Calendar of the Soul by Rudolf Steiner in English, French, German

Namaste dear Well Wishers,

Welcome to the Calendar of the Soul Verses by Rudolf Steiner.
Thanks for stopping by and sharing a moment together.
Blessings on all you do!

We are spending time each week with one of the 52 verses from the Calendar of the Soul meditations written in 1912 by Rudolf Steiner (1861-1925).

Today, on Saturday, August 25th 2012, we move to Verse 21 (Week of August 25th – 31st).  The verses were originally written in German by Rudolf Steiner, included here are translations into English and French.

This verse is my ‘birthday week’ verse.  If it’s yours too, Enjoy!!!!

21. Twenty-first Week after Easter (August 25-31)

I feel strange power bearing fruit
And gaining strength to give myself to me.

I sense the seed maturing
And expectation, light-filled weaving
Within me on my selfhood’s power.

21. Vingt et unième semaine: 25-31 août

Voici qu’en moi j’éprouve
Une force étrangère et porteuse de fruits;
Son pouvoir s’affermit me rendant à moi-même.
J’en sens le germe qui mûrit
Et
le pressentiment lumineux qui travaille
Au-dedans de mon être à donner force au moi.

21. Woche: 25-31 August

Ich fühle fruchtend fremde Macht
Sich stärkend mir mich selbst verleihn,
Den Keim empfind ich reifend
Und Ahnung lichtvoll weben
Im Innern an der Selbstheit Macht.

The Meditations invite us to develop a deeper understanding of the spiritual forces at work throughout the year.

For Rudolf Steiner the year begins with Easter so the verses are numbered 1 to 26 for the summer half of the year (Easter to Michaelmas) and verses 27 to 52 for the winter months (Michaelmas to Palm Sunday).

Next week will be Verse 22 (September 1-7), until then, be well.
Kindest regards,
Sri Devi
