Blessings at Mealtimes by Ashtar Number Twenty-Five

Namaste dear Well Wishers,

We have been featuring an original blessing from our mealtime since the beginning of August and we continue with our final week on Saturday, 25th August 2012.

Dear Well Wishers,
Have you had a chance this summer to share a meal with special people you don’t often get to see?  Hope so!
Who was it with?

Yesterday, a girlfriend of mine (since we were 10) drove us up to have lunch with my parents at their home.  What a joyous occasion sitting around the  familiar dining room table sharing old and new stories together while enjoying Mom’s delicious, heart-filled home cooking, a vegetarian meal in honour of the two veggie visitors.

Dad has been working on scanning hundreds of photos from both sides of the family and presented me with an early birthday present, a memory stick with 1,000 photos on it!  I think my parents got a kick out of the fact that I needed to go get my drug store glasses to read the little note of instructions with the gift!

We had a preview of some of the photos on his I Pad, there are professional photographer shots from mid to late 1800’s up to family shots from the 1950’s.  What a thrill it’s going to be to see them all.  Will share some highlights with you in a future post dear Well Wishers.

Gratitude for the abundance of the season and sharing meals with loved ones continues thanks to Ashtar, who tunes in to the sacred space between thoughts putting the pictures to words and I write them down as we say grace before the meal we are about to share together.

Today’s offering, sent in Peace, Light and Love,
Blessings,
Ashtar ra
