Namaste Well Wishers,
Welcome to Day 26 of Project Moon Log
The Moon entered Aries yesterday at 5:45 pm EDT and continues to move through Aries all day long until tomorrow at 5:44 pm EDT.
How was your day yesterday? Did you notice anything different about the day having spent the majority of it under Void-of-Course (VOC) Moon energy?
Here is a reminder of some activities that are best suited to the VOC energy and ones to be avoided.
Actions to embrace during the Void-of-Course Moon: relaxation, listening to music, reading, meditation and other spiritual endeavors, house cleaning, getting some rest, having a deep sleep at this time.
It’s also a good time to engage in activities that we don’t wish to lead to further actions, if we have to visit someone and we are looking to avoid a conflict this is a good choice of time to do so.
There is a strong recommendation not to implement new ideas or tasks or things that we hope will grow and improve at this time, because they won’t! The time will be misspent through mistakes being made and the work having to be redone later on anyway.
If we want something to happen with a specific outcome, if we want to be successful, then we need to avoid doing this during the Void-of-Course Moon.
Other examples of activities to avoid: sending important faxes and mail, applying for a job or contest, starting a business, making an announcement, asking for a favor, buying expensive items, getting married.
Yesterday was a day off for me and I had an overwhelming desire to sleep the afternoon away, but settled on making Farewell cards for teachers who are leaving at the end of this school year. The cards turned into booklet forms so that there is a page for each class, that way every student that the teacher was most involved with can also sign.
There is space at the top to put the person’s name and it looks nice printed out on 4×6 photo paper.
Out of courtesy, please just let me know you are using it, and as a fellow Well Wisher too, I’d be happy for you to share a little about the person you are honoring if you’d like.
The Irish Blessing I chose was this one:
May the road rise up to meet you,
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
In a previous post entitled for St. Patrick’s Day May the Road Rise up to Meet You, I mentioned how this Irish Blessing has a special significance for me as a verse to wish others well.
A few years ago as I was making a set of three Farewell cards for teachers with the above Irish Blessing, three Irish priests starting singing this blessing on the telly, so how’s that for an Irish Blessing, thrice blessed!
Plenty of time today and tomorrow for the energy of Mars to feed our inner fire to get things done. Have you any comments or observations to share? Please feel free to get in touch by leaving your comments here or e-mail directly to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Blessings on your day, in every way!
