Namaste Well Wishers,
Welcome to Day Three of Project Moon Log,
The Moon left Taurus (yesterday at 6:18 pm EDT) and enters Gemini today at 1:05 pm (EDT). What happens in between this time you might ask? There is a specific term for this called Void-of-Course Moon. Of Course! but no, more like Without-a-Course.
The abbreviation is VOC and it refers to the time when the Moon has finished making its last major aspect with the Sun and planets in its current sign before moving into the next sign. This period of time varies from just a few minutes to hours or days and occurs every two days or so.
What does this mean to us? Is it something we notice? Are there activities to avoid or initiate at this time?
Overall, it seems to bring a “spaced out” feeling. It’s like the Moon is taking a nap and we aren’t sure what to make of our feelings at the time. We could be confused, frustrated, run down, but generally out of sorts.
In our busy lives we can’t just put things on hold and sleep it off (though sometimes it may occur while we are asleep anyway), there is a strong recommendation, however, not to implement new ideas or tasks or things that we hope will grow and improve at this time, because they won’t! The time will be misspent through mistakes being made and the work having to be redone later on anyway.
If we want something to happen with a specific outcome, if we want to be successful, then we need to avoid doing this during the Void-of-Course Moon. Other examples of activities to avoid: sending important faxes and mail, applying for a job or contest, starting a business, making an announcement, asking for a favor, buying expensive items, getting married.
Actions to embrace during the Void-of-Course Moon: relaxation, listening to music, reading, meditation and other spiritual endeavors, house cleaning, getting some rest, having a deep sleep at this time.
It’s also a good time to engage in activities that we don’t wish to lead to further actions, like mailing our tax return, or if we have to visit someone and we are looking to avoid a conflict this is a good choice of time to do so.

Curious is the overall mood of the day.
The ruling God is Mercury, messenger of the Gods, the ultimate trickster and mischief maker.
Lots of questions today.
The wardrobe department suggests something whimsical and surprising with geometrical designs.
From April Kent Elliott’s book Practical Astrology our Guides for the day are: smart aleks, toddlers who ask “Why?” every two minutes, interviewers, writers, monkeys, birds, brothers and sisters, books and newspapers, con artists, twins, butterflies, the wind.
Today’s assignments from Practical Astrology: catch up on paperwork, phone calls and visits. Write. Read. Conversation.
Please feel free to share your thoughts and observations, either by leaving a comment with this post or by e-mailing directly to email@example.com.
Blessings on your day, in every way!
