Namaste Well Wishers,
This post is dedicated to all our Leap Year Friends who get to celebrate their birthday on the 29th of February this year! Hope you have an extra special one! Looking for a special Leap Year Card? There are some more ideas at the end of this post.
Susan Alison’s wonderful artwork and greeting cards have jumped into my awareness lately.
These two figure skating frogs caught my attention from her collection and would make wonderful Leap Year cards.

Thirty days hath September,
April, June and November;
All the rest have thirty-one,
Save February, with twenty-eight days clear,
And twenty-nine each leap year.
Do you remember this from your school days (or some version thereof) for learning the number of days in each month? It’s an English mnemonic poem.
Here’s one for you, a Knuckle Mnemonic. Wherever you see the knuckle protruding it’s a month that has 31 days in it. I’d never seen this before, had you? It’s every other month with 31 days except for July and August where the two hands are side by side. Neat-O!
With your participation I hope to have this February 29th Birthday List grow leaps and bounds. So far I only know of one Leap Year Birthday! Please help us send out more Well Wishes to our Leaper Friends by leaving a comment with this post, or sending an e-mail to: bringingkindnesstolife@gmail.com

Hi Sri – I’ve just found the frog cards – how very kind of you to feature my work again! I was going to email you, but then wasn’t sure how to do that so I’m commenting here. Thank you so much for your original post about my artwork – it’s one of my favorite posts now! And thank you too, for enabling our winning the contest. Card credits will be fab!
