How to find out your own special WISH period

Namaste Well Wishers,

Recently we’ve been looking at making wishes on the New Moon and a phenomenally potent time that is actually a time span of three to five weeks.  The timing is special for each person and comes at the same time every year so you’ll want to mark it on your calendar (or your preferred method of remembering!).

Yesterday, I asked for a name to call this special period of time and an acronym for WISH came to mind. W hen I ntentions S hift H umanity.  During this special WISH period we have the opportunity to make forty, 40 wishes.

That is a lot of wishes to make and gives us ample time to work on self-improvement, examine the gifts that we have and want to further develop,  latent talents that we want to nurture, goals, intentions, dreams that we want to see fulfilled.

Using the universal energy that is available to us at the time of this WISH period can help illuminate what our true heartfelt desires are and then taking steps to make them happen – that’s  When Intentions Shift Humanity!

It’s making the world a better place our very striving and this in turn inspires others around us.  Not only our loved ones and friends, but colleagues, neighbors, and people that we will never even know about.

When is your WISH period?  That’s a question worth finding the answer to and Well Wishers Group can help you.

This WISH period is determined from your birth chart (you need your actual birth time) and it is when the sun is traveling through your 11th House.  No worries, you don’t even have to know what that means!

To determine this 3-5 week WISH period feel free to e-mail the following three details to

Place of Birth (City, Country)
Date of Birth (Day, Month, Year)
Time of Birth (essential)

This is done free of charge and the information will be used for purposes of determining your WISH period only.   A response will be e-mailed back to you as promptly as possible.

So when you know your WISH period, what happens next?

Similar to the wishes made on the New Moon you hand write them, only instead of 10 you have up to 40 you can write.  You will find out what works best for you in terms of how many you’ll write down at a time.  You might write a few at a time as they come to mind throughout the WISH period, or 10 each week or even 40 all in one go at the beginning, middle or end.

I happen to be at the very end of my WISH period and this year I chose to write them all at once, yesterday.  Over the past few years, knowing that this stretch of time is an extra fertile time for wishing I’ve spent more time observing what new ideas come, what ongoing goals or dreams have yet to be realized and then all of a sudden it’s just time to write them all down.  As I mention, you’ll find your own way.

Since there are so many wishes to make, we may choose to work on an ongoing issue in our lives and with that comes years of conditioning, negativity, fears, murkiness etc. and if the issue were to change right away, which it might! it could cause quite a shock in our lives. It’s with this in mind that I also include for the last wish of the 40: “May these wishes manifest at a rate I can comfortably handle, for the highest good of all.”

In summary, key points for making wishes during your WISH period:

1. Mark your WISH period on your calendar.

2. Observe what goals, intentions, dreams or wishes are close to your heart at this time.

3. Hand write up to 40 wishes.

4. Write down as many wishes as you like at a time.

5. As your last wish, to help cut down negativity or fears that may arise from the changes, include the phrase or one with a similar meaning:

“May these wishes manifest at a rate I can comfortably handle, for the highest good of all.”

One more factor to keep in mind for the WISH period will be looked at in more detail in the next post and that is “what happens when Mercury is in Retrograde?”.

And right on cue, Mercury is in Retrograde starting tomorrow August 2nd until August 26th 2011.

Be well, Keep well and Blessings on y(our) day!
