Invoking Wishes or Blessings for the Bride and Groom

Zach and Salome’s wedding was perfectly enchanting from sublime sunshine to setting sun and magical Moonrise.

As mentioned in the last post, the couple planned their wedding vows to take place under the Full Moon. It took my breath away to come to the front of the house and see the Moon rising up in the Eastern sky, with the altar and torches lining the path. Lanterns were all a-glow and calling us to share in this special moment.

Here is the intention behind the candle and invoking wishes or blessings by guests…

We were asked to take a moment to look at the candle we were holding and to imagine the energy of the flame fueling our wish for this bride and groom as they travel through this world together.

Once we were ready to offer our deepest most honourable prayer we blew out our candles and were asked to feel the energy move from the flame to the glowing ball of light that exists between these two blessed spirits.

We had been invited to their wedding ceremony for a reason, to help surround the couple with positive energy and to push them beyond their previous capacities for caring and kindness.

They are now one and we were the witnesses to this beautiful union under the Full Moon Sky.

To Zach and Salome, newlyweds and all couples…
May we always find the love, again and again.
